There are several procedures available to rejuvenate the appearance of your facial features. These include a face lift (rhytidectomy), forehead lift (brow lift), eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and skin re-surfacing (laserbrasion). Information about these procedures is offered below and can be accessed using the "Next" and "Back" buttons located at the bottom of each screen.

FACE LIFT (RHYTIDECTOMY)

A face lift (rhytidectomy) is a cosmetic procedure performed for the purpose of removing excess, or loose, sagging skin from the face and neck. The extent of the procedure depends on what changes are desired and what we deem to be appropriate in each individual patient. A face lift can be done in conjunction with an upper and/or lower eyelid blepharoplasty (a procedure designed to remove excess skin, fat and wrinkling from the upper and/or lower eyelids) as well as brow lift surgery. Judicious liposuction to the submental and submandibular area can also be performed as needed. In our practice, face lifts are commonly performed on men and women from 35-65 years of age who are in good health. Patients undergoing this procedure experience swelling and bruising mostly in the cheek and neck areas and recovery time varies from 2-4 weeks.
