NOSE SURGERY (RHINOPLASTY)

A rhinoplasty is a cosmetic procedure performed for the purpose of reshaping the nose. A rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of your nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip. Although there is no age limit for rhinoplasty, the nose is near full development when the patient is in the late teens; therefore, this is the earliest recommended age for having a rhinoplasty. Recovery from a rhinoplasty generally is 2-4 weeks though some residual swelling can remain for up to one year.
